"Animal style" means chicken
cooked in mustard. "Animal style" was made famous
by In-N-Out Burger in Southern California. You can grind
your own mustard using the K-Tec
Kitchen Mill or buy Dijon mustard
6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, rinsed and drained
2/3 cup Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Gaylord-Hauser Spike Seasoning
1 teaspoon sea kelp granules (optional)
Combine mustard, mayonnaise, and Gaylord-Hauser Spike Seasoning
in a bowl, stir well to blend. Add sea kelp if you wish.
Pour half the sauce into a bowl and set aside. Coat the
chicken breasts completely with the remaining sauce. Grill
over low heat for 20 minutes, turning the breasts after
10 minutes. Baste with the remaining sauce for more flavor
while grilling. When the coating absorbs into the chicken
and the juices run clear, take the breasts off the grill
and enjoy.
